The Analytics Engineer works with the team to review their
reporting/analytics needs and advise and execute on the most effective plan
for data capture, data extraction, reporting automation and quality
assurance.



Responsibilities

. Implement robust, scalable, and mission critical solutions for the
Analytics & Insights team

. Work with analytics team, engineers, and system architects to
produce solutions that allow for optimal data extraction, compilation and
automation

. Interface with Marketing, Sales, and Account Mangers on client
inquiries and business requirements for reporting



Qualifications:

. BS in Computer Science

. A detailed understanding of data processing languages and tools -
Map/Reduce, SQL. Experience using those tools for standard as well as ad-hoc
data mining and analysis purposes.

. Desire to design and implement solutions with significant data
dependencies on NoSQL platforms (MongoDB specifically) in addition to
traditional relational database platforms (MySQL) when appropriate.

. 2+ years of software development experience with LAMP stack/PHP

. 2+ years experience in online marketing and website usage
analysis, including strong understanding of online measurement systems

. Experience implementing or using a variety of BI tools and
platforms such as SAS or MicroStrategy

. Expert Javascript and CSS skills

. Experience building applications using MongoDB, MySQL, PHP (Kohana
Framework a plus)

. Experience using Git for code versioning

. Facebook Application Development

. Twitter Application Development

. Experience with Excel VBA Macro Programming
